Terms of Service
By using ShowUp70, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use ShowUp70.
1) What ShowUp70 is
ShowUp70 is a 70-day consistency pact for small, private circles (2–8 people). Each day, we verify whether you completed 20+ minutes of continuous activity using a connected health platform and show a status-only result to your circle.
2) Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your country and be fit to participate. You’re responsible for your account and for any activity completed under it.
3) Challenge rules
- Duration: 70 consecutive days. Miss one day and you’re Stepped out. The circle continues.
- Daily requirement: 20+ minutes of continuous activity (walking counts).
- Timing window: 3:00 AM → 2:59 AM local time.
- Start condition: Circles accept members for 24 hours. After that, the roster locks and Day 1 begins at the next 3:00 AM local time.
- Re-entry: Once you miss a day, you’re Stepped out permanently for that circle.
4) Verification (read-only) & determination
- Connected platforms: ShowUp70 connects to supported health platforms in read-only mode.
- What we verify: We confirm only whether a qualifying activity occurred within the daily window.
- No posting: ShowUp70 never posts to connected platforms.
- Sync delays: If your activity syncs late, we still count it by activity start time as long as it is recorded by your connected provider.
- Accuracy: Verification depends on third-party platforms and their data. ShowUp70 can’t guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, or timely syncing.
- Final status: In cases of conflicting or missing data, ShowUp70’s determination of your daily status is final for the purpose of the pact.
5) Status-only sharing (privacy by design)
- Circle members see only one daily status per person: “Showed up”, “Activity Due”, or “Stepped out”.
- Members do not see each other’s activity-record details (including titles, routes, maps, pace, distance, heart rate, elevation, timestamps, dates, or screenshots).
- There are no streaks, totals, rankings, or leaderboards.
- Each user may view their own verification details privately; other members cannot.
6) Consent before joining a circle
Before joining a circle, you must explicitly agree that: “Your daily status (Showed up / Activity Due / Stepped out) will be visible to your circle.”
7) Participation fee & refunds
- Participation fee: €10 per participant (Europe) / $11.99 per participant (US), collected before Day 1. Pricing is set by billing country.
- Payment method: Payments are completed on the ShowUp70 website. Payments are processed by Stripe. ShowUp70 does not store your full card details.
- Finish: If you complete all 70 days, your participation fee is refunded to the original payment method.
- Refund timing: Refunds may take a few days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
- Miss a day: If you miss any day, your status becomes Stepped out and you are out for that circle. You do not receive a refund.
- Chargebacks/disputes: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your account and/or restrict access until the dispute is resolved.
8) Charity (non-refunded fees)
A portion of non-refunded fees is donated to charity as part of ShowUp70’s operating model. We publish donation proof.
9) No upside / not a financial product
No participant can ever receive more than they paid. This is not a financial product, investment, or gambling service.
10) Promotional draws
ShowUp70 may, at its discretion, offer occasional promotional draws or raffles:
- Promotions are optional and may not be offered for every cycle. Access is not guaranteed.
- Completing a challenge does not entitle any participant to a prize.
- Promotions do not affect the participation fee or refund rules.
- Any prizes are funded entirely by ShowUp70 (not by participant fees) and are fixed in advance.
- Prize type and quantity are not related to the number of participants, finishers, or non-refunded fees.
- Eligibility criteria (if any) are defined for each promotion and may be limited to verified finishers.
11) Health & safety
You participate at your own risk. Consult a medical professional before starting any physical activity program. Stop if you experience pain, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.
12) Service availability & changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of ShowUp70 at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
13) Disclaimers
ShowUp70 is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that verification will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available, including due to third-party platform outages or sync issues.
14) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowUp70 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to ShowUp70 for the relevant circle.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Courts of Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
