Privacy Policy
We take privacy seriously. ShowUp70 uses read-only access to your connected health platforms only to verify whether a qualifying activity occurred each day. We never post to connected platforms.
What we collect
Circle & status data
- Your circle membership (who you’re in a circle with).
- One daily status per person: Showed up / Activity Due / Stepped out.
Account data
Limited account information needed to operate your private circle (e.g., identifiers, login/session info, settings like local time zone).
Verification data (read-only)
Minimal activity signals needed to verify 20+ minutes of continuous activity within the daily window.
We may store verification results (e.g., that a qualifying activity occurred) to enforce rules and resolve support issues.
Payments (website MVP)
Payments are completed on our website and processed by Stripe.
ShowUp70 does not store your full card details. Stripe processes payment information.
How we use data
- Verify whether a qualifying activity occurred within your daily window (3:00 AM–2:59 AM local time, counted by activity start time).
- Record your daily status and display it to your circle.
- Operate friends-only circles, enforce rules, prevent abuse, and provide support.
- Process refunds and handle billing issues (via Stripe).
What we don’t do
- We don’t post to connected platforms.
- We don’t modify your activity records.
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t show your activity details to other members (no titles, routes, maps, pace, distance, heart rate, elevation, timestamps, dates, screenshots, streaks, totals, rankings, or leaderboards).
Status-only sharing & consent
Before you join a circle, you must agree: “Your daily status (Showed up / Activity Due / Stepped out) will be visible to your circle.”
You may view your own verification details privately; other members cannot.
Sync timing
If your activity syncs late, we still count it by start time as long as it’s recorded by your connected provider. Verification depends on third-party platforms and their data availability.
Your choices
- Disconnect a connected platform at any time.
- Request data deletion by emailing support@showup70.com (we may retain limited records where required for security, legal, or accounting purposes).
